What can Traya do to make a change to our world? Gigi Art of Dance presents our biennial dance musical E-MOTIONS: PLASTIC FANTASTIC!

E-Motions is the 7th Dansical (Dance Musical) produced by Gigi Art of Dance (GAOD) studio, Jakarta. It is a platform for GAOD's 400 students to showcase their talents in singing, dancing & acting. Each year they voice out different campaigns for the society that are told through stories and dances for the young generation to be inspired with. In this 10th Year, they chose the rising issue of plastic wastes. The issue will be told through an original script, and with collaborations with set designer, music composer and lighting designer to create a professional stage for the students to experience.

The story is about our world in 2080 that has changed completely into plastic as a result of human actions. The story will follow the journey in the life of a plastic straw, leading to the worlds destruction and entire animal extinctions. Introducing Traya, our lead character, (10 Years old) and Petunia, her robot "petrapet" and their journey to save the world.

This musical hopes to inspire the young generations to pursue the creative industry of performing arts as well as creating awareness, provide a solution and provoke action, to stop using plastic products needlessly to save the lives of our future generation.
