WHAT WILL HAPPEN WHEN THE BEST BALLET DANCERS FROM INDONESIA, KOREA, CZECH REPUBLIC AND AUSTRALIA ARE SHARING THE SAME STAGE?

To commemorate Indonesia and Korea's 70th Independence Days, The First Indonesian Ballet Gala presents the first ever international ballet collaboration where Indonesian top dancers from Ballet Sumber Cipta, Marlupi Dance Academy and Namarina Youth Dance will dance along world-class ballet dancers from Korean National Ballet and award-winning ballet stars from Australia and Czech Republic from the West Australian Ballet and Bayerisches Staatsballett.

Together, they will present original as well as much-loved repertoires, such as:

Ballet Indonesia: Original dance fusion between Indonesian traditional dance and classical ballet technique based on Indonesian folklore and culture

Excerpts from “Giselle”, “Swan Lake” and “Don Quixote”

Excerpts from “Prince Hodong” ballet, taken from Korean traditional tale. This show has been restaged many times and was a sold-out in Italy

Various Contemporary Ballet, as choreographed by Stuttgart Ballet choreographers
